Julia Pitarresi is a Buffalo-based actress, writer, and voice actor currently acquiring her BFA in Music Theatre at the University at Buffalo. If you ask for a blood-curdling scream or an operatic high note, she will do them both. Julia is known for her physical comedy and character acting, (with a special focus in improv), though she excels in dramatic roles as well. Notable roles include: Maria/Itchy (Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play); Leanne (Puffs); Rapunzel (Into the Woods); Ursula (The Little Mermaid). Most recently, she was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for her role in Mr. Burns.
